T.H.A.T. Preschool was founded by Sarah Shelton in 2023. After raising and home-educating her six children, Sarah felt called to fill the need of Madison County families seeking a safe and loving environment for their children to begin their educational journey.
Sarah's passion for teaching began in 1995 when she began homeschooling her oldest son. This passion carried through to her volunteer efforts in her church's children's ministry from 2001-2008. Sarah now has 25 years of experience in both childcare and childhood education and is excited to share her love of teaching with your family!

Which curriculum do you use?We use the Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum. This popular program is a developmentally appropriate, activity-based curriculum for children ages 3-5 that focuses on the fundamental skills children not only need to learn but are also excited to learn! We are also a faith-based preschool and integrate Bible stories into our daily and weekly routines. For a more detailed look into the curriculum and what we teach, please check out our Curriculum Page or email us at thatpreschool@yahoo.com

Does my child need to be potty trained? We do not require a preschooler to be potty trained before coming to preschool. We do, however, request that the parents are fully involved in the potty training efforts at home, and we will use our own positive efforts at preschool. If you would like more details into our policies and procedures surrounding potty training, discipline, etc. please email us at thatpreschool@yahoo.com to request a copy of our Handbook!

What are the tuition rates? Our tuition rate is currently donation-based for the first year! Once enrollment increases next year, our tuition fees will go back to our standard rates as outlined on our Classes and Rates Page.
